Administrative Pastor - Terry O'Brien
Terry O'Brien attended Gratiot Baptist Church from his childhood.
Gratiot merged with Beulah Baptist Church in 1983 to become
Cornerstone.
Terry grew up working in his father's construction company and
learned the building business from the ground up. After graduating
from high school in 1966, he attended Lawrence Technological
University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
Mechanical Engineering. He went on to get a Master's degree in
Christian Education from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary two years
later.
Since graduating, Terry has worked five years as an engineer at
McCord Corporation, fifteen years as a superintendent on various
construction sites, six years as owner and operator of a retail
computer store, and controller of a tool and die shop just prior to
coming to Cornerstone.
Terry and his wife Ruthanne have been married over thirty
years and have two adult daughters, Shari (O'Brien) Fields and
Shelley (O'Brien) Johannes. Terry has been the Business Administrator at Cornerstone
since January 1, 2000.
